| Comments: Peter’s Von Glower character reminds me a little of the villain David Xanatos from the cartoon series Gargoyles. He was just too charismatic to dislike, even if he was dishonest. It’s a shame Von Glower had to die in GK2. You could almost accept and respect what he had done to Gabriel. I’m glad to see that Peter has so many admirers. I hope that maybe some of his other characters have the depth and charisma of Von Glower. |

My 4th GK2 CD was scratched so I couldn’t continue playing the game back in 1995. I started wondering how I could save you and sacrifice Gabriel! I was mesmerized by your every scene. I had to remind myself that it was just a game! Afterward, I looked on your site because you looked very familiar to me and I was quite sure I had seen you before on TV. Swidruję oczami, przygladam się – “On czy nie on?” Sus do komputera i wszystko stalo się jasne – Baron von Glower z The Beast Within to nasz krajan! Nie będę się rozpisywal w ochach i achach na temat Pańskiego dorobku artystycznego, bo… po prostu go nie znam. Ale z nieklamana przyjemnoscia napiszę, ze w GK:TBW poskladal Pan na lopatki cala ekipę. | Comments: I just finished playing GK2 again, for the first time in ten years (a very happy occasion!). I’ve played many computer games. But only the story of GK2 has had such an emotional impact that it stayed with me long after, and I credit much of that to your stunning performance as von Glower. I wanted to write this because the game simply would not be the great thing it is without you. All I could think when I finished the game was how I wished I could give you a big hug and thank you for just doing something amazing. As I see others have also remarked here, never have I been so sad to kill the villain.

I really love that game. The many short films that encompass the film really make the game enjoyable. And all that wouldn’t be possible without great actors. Your character, Von Glower, was very appealing because of how you portrayed him in the game. Thanks for doing such a fantastic job. I didn’t realize you were Polish until just now. I have Polish heritage on my mother’s side (My great-grandmother was born in Krakow)… but a lot of that culture was lost after they immigrated to the states because my ancestors were ashamed of our Polish heritage. It’s a little disappointing to have that culture stripped away… Oh, well. I’m glad you don’t hide who you are. I also look forward to seeing you in more films– it’s always fun to say “Hey! That’s Peter Lucas from Gabriel Knight 2!” when I’m watching a movie. =) |

Za Pana kunszt,talent aktorski i cudowny taniec ( byliście bezkonkurencyjni….). Za widoczną wrażliwość, kulturę, sposób bycia oraz szacunek do innych. Nie ukrywam,że jestem pod ogromnym wrażeniem Pana talentu oraz wdzięku, jaki Pan w sobie posiada. Należy Pan do tej grupy mężczyzn, których jest coraz mniej na tym świeci i których należy podziwiać. Szarmanctwo, delikatność, wrażliwość i poczucie estetyki, to cechy rzadkie, ale jak bardzo cenne u mężczyzny,aktora, a tym bardziej u gwiazdy Hollywood.Jetem dumna zarówno z Pana, jak i Pańskich osiągnięć. Jest Pan niezwykłym mężczyzną posiadającym ogromny urok osobisty oraz ten błysk dobroci i szczerości w oczach, który przyciąga, jak magnes. Do tej pory w moich oczach tylko jeden mężczyzna posiadał ” to coś” – to jest mój ukochany mąż (z kórym jestem już od kilkunastu lat). Pan jest tym kolejnym. Myślę więc, że podobnie jak moja druga połowa, posiada Pan bogatą, ale skromną duszę, która zaprowadzi Pana bardzo daleko. Żałuję tylko,że “stracimy” Pana z oczu i przez dzielący nas ocean nie będziemy mogli podziwiać i śledzić Pańskich aktorskie sukcesów. Czuję smutek,zapewne,jak znaczna rzesza Pana wielbicieli, że musimy się z Panem rozstać na dłużej.Pozostają nam więc tylko przecudne i niezapomniane wspomnienia, kasety video,internet oraz nadzieja, że powróci Pan do nas na dłużej. Dziękuję wiec za przecudne wrażenia i walory artystyczne. | Comments: Drogi Panie Piotrze! Właśnie przed chwilą miałam wielką przyjemność obejrzeć film z Pana udziałem, a mianowicie “Ostanią misję”. Film jest świetny, jego akcja wciągnęla mnie od pierwszej minuty i z ogromną niecieprliwością czekłam, co będzie dalej. Jestem również pod wielkim wrażeniem Pana umiejętności aktorskich. Pana rola w tym filmie jest świetna. Z jednej strony jawi sie pan widzom jako twardy zabójca, a z drugiej – jako człowiek wrażliwy, który zmaga się z chorobą i próbuje odnaleźć swoją córkę a w obu jest Pan szalenie przekonywujący. Niecierpliwie więc czekam na premierę w Polsce fimu “Inland Empire” a będzioe mi on pewnie szczególnie bliski, bo część zdjęć kręcono w mieście, gdzie obecnie mieszkam, czyli w Łodzi. Mam również nadzieję,że zgodnie z wcześniejszymi zapowiedziami przyjedzie Pan i w tym roku na Festwial Camerimage. Chciałabym jeszcze dodać, że dla mnie to Pan i Dominika jesteście zwycięzcami w “Tańcu z Gwiazdami”. Zyskaliście sobie moją sympatię od pierwszego odcinka. Pana umiejętności taneczne są niezaprzeczalne. A na dodatek ma Pan w sobie wielką elegancję, którą szczególnie było widać w tańcach standardowych, choć w łacinie też sobie Pan świetnie radził(jive był rewelacyjny po prostu!). Ale nie tylko tańcem mi pan imponował ale również cechami charakteru a mianowicie: wielka pracowitością, ambicją, konsekwentością, dżentelmeńskim stosunkiem do Dominiki oraz urokiem osobistym. To wszystko sprawiało, że nawet po słabszych tańcach nie sposób było na Was nie głosować. Nie żałuję ani jednego smsa, którego wysłałam na Waszą parę. | Comments: I znowu wczoraj o godz. 23:00 miałam szczęście. Akurat przebudziłam się, włączyłam telewizor na TVN Style, patrzę, a tam Piotr Andrzejewski w “Mieście Kobiet” u Agaty Młynarskiej. Mowa była o samochodach, ale jestem pod wrażeniem Pana wypowiedzi, które potwierdzają, że nie przewróciło się Panu w głowie. Dzisiaj w Tele Tygodniu pisze o Panu Beata Tyszkiewicz. Niestety, marnie oceniam Jej aktorstwo i pisaninę. To Ona z Galińskim niesprawiedliwie faworyzowała Kingę Rusin. Tej Pani mówię – dziękuję. Cóż, Pan wyjechał i nie będą mieli z Pana korzyści. A z Rusin, na pewno. Niedługo zaprosi ich do programu Dzień Dobry TVN. Pani Tyszkiewicz krótko napisała o Panu, że uwielbiamy i kochamy Pana, bo ma Pan anglosaski wdzięk i pewną tajemnicę w sobie oraz, że my Polacy tęsknimy za odległym, lepszym i wygodniejszym światem, w którym Pan żyje i za to, że ma Pan dom w Meksyku, odpoczywa surfując i że ma Pan to coś. Otóż kochamy Pana za dużo, dużo więcej m.in. za takt, mądrość życiową, umiar, koleżeńskość, opiekuńczość, rodzinność, szacunek dla Rodziny i ludzi, skromność, wytrwałość, dążenie do celu, pracowitość, prawowitość, dobre wychowanie, miłóść do żony, zaradność w życiu, zdolność, urodę, przystojność, wszechstronne talenty, umiarkowanie, mądrość, zrównoważenie, za to, że czuje się Pan nadal Polakiem i za dużo, dużo więcej. | Comments: Niestety, wczoraj ostatni raz (w kulisach) oglądaliśmy Pana. Wielka szkoda. Był Pan dla wielu z nas atrakcją niedzielnego wieczoru. Miło było Pana oglądać. O cechach charakteru pisałam wcześniej. Dla mnie jesteście wygraną parą. Nie mieliście tych samych szans. Pani Kinga Rusin co 2 tygodnie występuje przed widzami w TVN. Dlatego tylu ludzi ją zna. Poza tym kilkanaście lat temu była prezenterką TV i jest byłą żoną sławnej osoby. Gdyby Taniec z gwiazdami trwał jeszcze 2 tygodnie, Pan też miałby coraz więcej fanów i może by zwyciężył. Kochamy Pana i proszę o tym pamiętać, wracając do nas. Myślę, że teraz dopiero zdobył Pan sławę w Polsce, co znajdzie odzwierciedlenie w Pana karierze. Proszę pozdrowić najbliższych. Podzielam zachwyt moich rodaków Pana osobą – Pana kulturą, manierami, wdziękiem i urodą, skromnością i talentem – zarówno aktorskim jak i tanecznym. Głęboko wierzę – proszę kiedyś wspomnieć tę “przepowiednię” – że w zawodzie aktorskim to wszystko co najlepsze jest dopiero przed Panem. Jestem pewna, że tak jak Anthony Hopkins czy Sean Connery, najlepsze role zagra Pan jako dojrzały, doświadczony i ukształtowany aktor! Wtedy cały świat pokocha Pana tak jak my, tu w Polsce. Bo możliwości ma Pan ogromne!!! A co do finału TzG – pięknie Pan tańczył ale widać było chyba troszkę, jak bardzo jest Pan już zmęczony tym tanecznym maratonem. Dla mnie i wielu z widzów to Pan wygrał tę kryształową kulę. Dziękuję za emocje i wzruszenia jakich dostarczył nam Pan w tym programie. Szkoda mi bardzo, że wyjeżdża Pan z Polski, ale rozumiem, że należy się Panu solidny odpoczynek. Zazdroszczę Panu troszkę możliwości pożeglowania na ciepłych wodach – sama od lat żegluję – kiedy tu u nas będzię zimno, ale cóż, tak to już w życiu jest. Moje pozytywne myśli będą Panu towarzyszyć – więc to tak, jakbym również żeglowała po błękitnych wodach. Życzę więc Panu super odpoczynku w gronie tych bliskich, których tak długo Pan nie widywał. Dla mnie wygrał wła¶nie Pan. Dziękuję za 10 wspaniałych odcinków. Każdy warto było ogl±dać tylko ze względu na pańskie tańce. Każdy z nich miał co¶ wspaniałego i niepowtarzalnego w sobie. | Comments: A bit of Peter’s work came to my attention around 1995 when, as a sophmore in high school, I played Gabriel Knight: The Beast Within. The story so moved me–the characters, the dialogue, the mood, the setting, the supernatural elements that speak to powerful themes and struggles in human life–that ever since that year, I have played the game through entirely almost annually. It was upon completing the game tonight, August 19th 2004, that it first occurred to me to see who the actor of Baron Von Glower’s part was (it hadn’t mattered before; only the story had). I wanted to thank you for the wonderful job you did portraying this character. He has a depth that really makes you think. He was a good man with a tragic story, but the nature of his curse meant he had to be destroyed. You made the player wish he didn’t have to die, but at the same time understand why it must be so. I was immediately awed by his admirable performance as von Glower. He portrayed the character so well, that he made me care more about him than about Gabriel Knight! | Comments: I just saw VIP on German TV, starring Peter J. Lucas. It is quite a hilarious series with Pam Anderson. Peter plays a Russian general an did a gooood job! He speaks with quite a thick Russian accent, had to laugh about his funny comments… When he enters LA in a new suit for example he says “I look like Don Johnsen now”. Ian McKellen now has the script and is keen to play Maurice Ravel. David Schwimmer is currently in the frame for Gershwin, but nothing has been signed yet. David Duchovny has also been suggested as has Nicolas Cage. We are aiming to get a name for Gershwin initially to make the film to have as wide an appeal as possible. That does not mean that we will be able to get the budget, it could end up being a much smaller picture, so let’s wait and see.The part of Harry Kellis is in no way a small role, in fact, he is pivatol and has some great scenes with Gershwin and Ravel. I think the reason for the popularity of the character Von Glower stems from the fact that you captured everything that character was meant to be. You played him with such passion and humanity. Many adventure games have captured my attention, but none had me drooling over my computer like this one did. I actually felt shattered when von Glower died, which was entirely due to Peter’s magnificent feel for the character. Just wish they would turn it into a movie… I also think Peter would be perfect for one of the vampires in Anne Rice’s books, if they ever do another film. I’ll have him over Brad or Tom any day! |

I can’t begin to tell you how much I enjoyed your performance as Baron vonGlower and how much more thrilling the game was because of the depth you gave to his character! I must confess, I continue to replay those sections of the game where the Baron and Gabriel interact whenever I get the chance. You made it impossible for anyone with a heart not to fall in love with such a sad, gentle and compelling man. I can not understand why he was killed at the end. It would seem that Gabriel’s Schattenjager powers would have been enhanced as a werewolf. Also, he would have had the Baron as an both an ally and companion. They both would have been better off. But, that is only my opinion and it is based solely on your moving performance. Well, I don’t know if you will see this or not, but I’m writing here first until I can work up the nerve to email you!
